Who We Are

United Awakening Baptist Church (UABC) is a Bible-believing Christian church founded on September 12, 2017, in High Point, North Carolina, USA. The church was established after God revealed a clear vision to Bishop Jean Munyambabazi, supported by his wife Esther Nyirakarire and other servants of God.

This vision was born out of a burden to awaken Christians who had lost focus, revive spiritual gifts, and restore purpose among believers living in different nations.

UABC ministers to people in America and Africa, especially immigrants and refugees, families affected by war and disasters, broken marriages and families, and youth facing moral and spiritual confusion. The church exists to bring hope, healing, discipline, and spiritual growth through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
